Bishop Henry A. Cobb Author,  with a Doctorate of Divinity Degree. He is the presiding Bishop and Apostle for the brotherhood of the Church of God, Dean and founder of C.O.G. Revelation Bible College, Principal of C.O.G. Victory Academy, And Former President of the Community Ecumenical Council of Churches.

      From the beginning as a people and as a church we have been up and down, but after much prayer and praise, teaching and releasing, preaching and seeking I feel that it is time now to lift our heads in faith and receive the very promise of God. In looking across the congregation pastors, elders, teachers, mothers, deacons, trustees, evangelists,
I have viewed people who were weak in leadership position, but the Bible says in Joel 3:10 " let the weak say lam strong" but there are those who I identified as being strong, they were not strong enough, but it is time for us now to receive the promise. The bible says Matthew 25:21 -.when you have been faithful over a few things God promises he will make you ruler over many." While some lay back resting and others don't allow spiritual issues to even get their attention in any way still God is calling the church the whole church to stand up as one people one body one church to be strong. God is calling the church to receive the promise. God is saying to the church let there be no division among you.
      Jesus prayed in his prayer as a high priest, "'father make them one as we are one " I Corinthians 1:10 .For Christ knew that if the church could ever truly unite the church could be empowered. Agreement brings power, forgiveness brings power, agreement plus forgiveness brings much power. Agreement, forgiveness, and prayer brings dynamos power. And the bible says in Acts 1:8 "And you -shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you. " God speaks to the Pentecostal church and tells the church that when you walk in agreement forgiveness and prayer it won't be long before you will receive the promise and the promise is dynamos power Holy Ghost power Gods promise. So I tell you this year body of Christ Church of God if you can't remember anything I have ever said or recall sayings of mine from the past if you can just remember these three significant points: agreement, plus  forgiveness plus prayer equals dynamos power. This power is the promise that God gave to the church. It is yours, it mine it belongs to the body. You no longer have to be up down under or over follow this formula, receive the promise and walk in your victory promise. This insight is for you.
